New Corten Weathering steel stock takes off!
Masteel UK Limited are pleased to announce that we now have Corten A material available ex-stock. The stock material has already proved to be a huge hit with our customers and demand has been high.
We are able to offer a variety of thickness options from 3mm to 10mm with coil widths varying from 1250mm to 2000mm. We have the flexibility to be able to decoil and cut to exact lengths resulting in minimal wastage.
About Corten
Corten is a very popular steel due to the materials rustic and aesthetically pleasing appearance. It is a weather resistant steel which reacts to natural elements in the atmosphere and forms its own protective layer of rust. This layer continues to replenish itself over time and therefore the steel does not usually require any form of external treatment.The steel is used in a variety of applications, both structural and cosmetic, including bridge construction, structural framework and building facias.
Masteel also offers Corten equivalent grade material including S355J0WP, S355J0W & S355J2W.
