Applications are invited for the position of Sales Consultant to work at our UK Head office near Birmingham, West Midlands (click here for company location).The Candidate:
- With a minimum of three years sales experience in the steel industry, the successful candidate will be driven, tenacious and self motivated and will be expected to contribute significantly towards the sales and profit growth of this expanding and successful business.
- Extensive knowledge of the steel sections industry is preferred and experience in the plate and profile sector would also be advantageous.
- Must be a self–starter who will thrive in a busy sales environment.
The Role:
- Selling direct to end users in the petrochemical, engineering, fabrication and other steel industries.
- Negotiating with diverse customer base with clients ranging from engineers to company directors.
- To be considered you must be able to demonstrate a technical aptitude coupled with a previous sales background in a steel/engineering environment.
Core Responsibilities:
- Professional customer contact within the steel sector, especially for sections
- Develop existing as well as establishing new customer relationships
- Providing efficient support and technical services
