S355 – a structural grade steel with a minimum yield strength of 355 N/mm².
Commonly used in the engineering and construction industry, S355 offers high yield and tensile strength and is supplied with a variety of treatments and test options making it a highly usable steel in your construction project.

About S355 Common Steels
S355JRA structural grade (S) with at minimum yield strength of 355 N/mm²m, the JR designation confirms that the steel has undergone longitudinal Chary V-Notch impact testing at 27J (Joules) at room temperature. Other Charpy designations include JO, J2 and K2.
S355AR
A structural grade (S) with the same minimum yield strength of 355 N/mm²m, but supplied in an 'as rolled condition'.
S355KN2+N
As S355JR but Charpy tested at 40J (Joules) at -20°C and supplied in the normalised condition.
